While I don’t enter the programmes I lead for awards, it is gratifying when clients do so and bring home the silverware. It is particularly valuable as recognition for the efforts of their people.

I co-created an employee engagement programme with DB Tyne and Wear to win the hearts and minds of employees in this newly acquired rail business. The judges described that “some sort of miracle” had been achieved given the challenges we faced. It was an honour to be a key part of this approach and to witness its impact on employees, customers and the business.

The “Good with Money” brand programme for Co-operative Financial Services touched each of its 8000 employees, reinvigorating a tired brand and instilling pride and purpose to its people. Achieved an uplift of 11% in employee engagement scores in 12 months.

Another great award for the Co-operative Financial Services programme. We trained internal facilitators to ensure ownership, advocacy and accountability. The fabulous energy and buy in generated ensured the impacts of the programme lived on long after the group sessions. We went on to win five awards for this incredible programme.

This was huge! We designed a highly participative, engaging and belief shifting engagement programme to train 12000 front line staff. We had to lead the biggest service proposition change that the business had ever seen.
